Jeff is a Senior Advisor with SC&H Capital where he relies on his vast experience as a corporate restructuring and bankruptcy lawyer to advise companies in distress while solving complex legal, financial, and business challenges.

Since 1986, Jeff has led workouts, corporate restructuring, and large Chapter 11 cases. Utilizing unique strategies and a skilled negotiating style, he’s adept at achieving swift and effective resolutions to complex situations, resulting in value-maximizing results for clients.

Jeff is an AmLaw 50 alumnus with a proven track record of applying legal strategies to reach consensual, and if necessary, litigated resolution. He has led roles in some of the highest-profile Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases in the United States, representing and separately serving as the independent fiduciary in several cases and situations. Jeff remains an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and previously served on ABI’s board of directors.

Jeff is passionate about effective leadership, mentorship, and teamwork. He has held numerous leadership positions at his prior firms including:

  • Co-head of Proskauer’s National Business Solutions, Governance, Restructuring, and Bankruptcy Practice Group
  • Katten’s Executive Committee member and head of the Bankruptcy Practice Group
  • Jenner and Block’s Board of Directors member and co-head of the Bankruptcy Practice Group
  • Co-head of Winston and Strawn’s Bankruptcy Practice Group

Jeff is excited to extend his career into M&A advisory, applying his corporate and bankruptcy experience to help private and public companies in distressed situations identify innovative solutions.

When Jeff isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and reading. He’s active with, Men Giving Back of South Palm Beach County, a charitable organization that raises funds to award grants to organizations that support children, education, mental health, and food security initiatives.
