Managing Director

As the Managing Director of SC&H’s Corporate Restructuring practice, Rob advises distressed companies through complex corporate restructurings, both in and out-of-court, with advance expertise in financial analysis, fraud investigation, and litigation support services. Rob and his team engage clients that include debtors, lenders, fiduciaries, creditors’ committees, and other interested parties.

With over 25 years of accounting, financial, and operational consulting experience, Rob has served in numerous fiduciary roles including Chief Restructuring Officer, Restructuring Manager, post-confirmation Plan Administrator, Litigation Trustee, and Receiver. Rob has led various accounting and financial engagements in distressed situations, including forensic accounting and fraud investigation, and has been engaged as an expert in bankruptcy matters.

While navigating business challenges can be a formidable process, Rob prides himself on providing creative and strategic solutions that lead to optimal outcomes. Maximizing value for his clients and achieving results that align with their objectives motivates and inspires Rob in his work, and he has developed a team aligned with these values.

Rob received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Baltimore and is a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP), Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He serves on the Executive Board of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and is currently Vice President of Chapter Relations and the former Chair of its global Chapter Presidents’ Council.

As an active member of the TMA, Rob’s involvement also includes his role on the Board of Directors of the Chesapeake chapter, where he has served as President and Chairperson.  He is also a contributing member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI).

Outside of work, Rob enjoys traveling with his wife and son, playing golf, offshore fishing, and indulging in the occasional BBQ competition.
